Double-Pepper Barbecue Rub

Ingredients
- 1/4 cuppaprika
- 1 tablespoonground cumin
- 1 tablespoonpacked brown sugar
- 1 tablespoonchili powder
- 1 tablespoonground black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoonscayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoonground cloves
Directions
In a small bowl stir together paprika, cumin, brown sugar, chili powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and cloves. Store in an airtight container up to 1 month.
To use, sprinkle 2 tablespoons spice mixture evenly over 1 pound beef or pork about 10 minutes before grilling; rub in with your fingers. Grill meat.
